I forgot to mention this yesterday! My good friend, Steph, dropped off a prescription for me yesterday. It is "Feel-Good Medicine" and says to "Use as needed for multi-symptom relief" and is filled with Skittles. The cap is pink and has a Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon on it. It is amazing that Steph brought this all the way to my house for me. But, it is even more amazing that her husband, Geno, is the one who created it (both Steph and Geno are pharmacists). I don't know Geno all that well, but apparently he felt bad for Steph who was feeling bad for me and this was his answer. How cool!
And look at these extraordinary flowers from Grant and Jen Rose. Could Matt and I be any more blessed?!
I'm glad you liked your prescription. Your upcoming Rx's are certain to be less tasty! You may need aggressive nutrition to go with your aggressive chemo. So please enjoy the Skittles now, or share them with another stressed out person... if you know any ;)
ReplyDeleteI won't pressure you with "get well soon," but rather "get well on schedule." I hope everything goes according to the most optimistic plan, and you make a full and complete recovery. Best wishes!
Hi Kel! and Hi All!
ReplyDeleteWe put together a meal delivery schedule for people to sign up to bring Kel's family food, so that everyone doesn't show up with food at the same time.
